Your daily 5-minute revenue checklist

Five checks every restaurant manager should do in the first five minutes of every day — straight from the operators we work with.

Your daily 5-minute revenue checklist

Every morning before service, run through these five checks. They take five minutes total and they catch the issues that cost restaurants the most money.

The checklist

  1. 86 list — mark out-of-stock items before the doors open. Customers ordering items you can't make is the #1 source of bad reviews.
  2. Promo expiry — open Marketing → Coupons and confirm none of yesterday's expired promos are still showing on the menu.
  3. Kitchen printer paper — sounds dumb. Has saved many restaurants from a 6pm rush meltdown.
  4. Closing balance from yesterday — does the dashboard total match the till? If not, find out before service.
  5. Today's reservations — print the table plan with reservation flags so the host doesn't walk-in a 4-top onto a 7pm reserved table.

If any of these items take longer than a minute to find on the dashboard, write to support — we want it to be one click.
